I put a lot of time into creating my teaching playlists and I have several that I’ve created that resonate with my energy, life memories, the mood and style of the class. It’s like sharing a little piece of my heart with others and students always compliment and ask me to share my playlists with them. Ironically, I prefer to practice with no music now while just connecting to my own strong ujjayi breaths.

A lot of fun, growth and relaxation! I go by the energy, goals, and yoga level of each student I teach to honor that we are all truly unique and so is our yoga practice. A Private Session with Dan would consist of: A private session with me would be a fun exploration of what a student is working on to progress your personal goals for yourself. These goals could range from maintaining a healthy training regiment during your off season or a yoga goal, for example, holding baksana for three minutes. I would then pair functional movements with postures to help each student progress to their individual goals!
